IWA Moscow’s first meet of 2025: A festive Makar Sankranti Celebration

The Indian Women’s Association (IWA) Moscow ushered in the new year with a grand celebration of Makar Sankranti, marking the first gathering of 2025 with tradition, joy, and camaraderie. The event beautifully reflected the festival’s essence—symbolizing new beginnings, prosperity, and togetherness.

Ladies were asked to wear festive attire and they sticked to the theme and were beautiful as always.

The team prepared homemade 'Murukku', and and Til ka laddoo( sesame ladoos) .A small fashion show was also organized by the team with games and food ,all made the day extra special.
