June IWA Meet - Summer Sprinkle

Summer in Moscow is short and all the more sweeter for it. Sun smiles at us from the blue skies overlooking the green grass, a sharp contrast to the usual greys and whites that cover Moscow for almost half the year! On one such sunny day, the ladies of the Indian Women’s Association, Russia, gathered, dressed in gorgeous blues and greens, for an afternoon of games and refreshments.

Before the games began, our President, Mrs.Iona Sinha, introduced our new Steering Committee on the stage and the committee members shared their plans for IWA in the coming months. This was followed by a fun game of Bollywood-themed pictionary which brought out the competitive streak in the ladies. The unusual game was followed by our usual round of Tambola where fortunes were made by a few while the others were wished better luck next time! We took a group photo and then loaded our plates with delicious desi snacks and picked up the beverages of our choice.  The day ended with conversations and laughter and a promise to meet again soon!
